I'm looking at the latest version of VM and i saw that country listed in country directory is Yugoslavia. That country does not exist, and there is no Serbia or Montenegro listed. But there is other former countries that where in Yugoslavia >> Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Slovenia, Macedonia. It would be good to fix this for next update.
You can very easily adjust the countries yourself.
when you want to spare the work for others, just export your corrected version with phpmyadmin and post it as attachment here or sent it directly to me max@virtuemart.net
