Title: Urgent Help Needed

I have been working on a virtuemart shopping site and noticed that the number of items at the mincart on top of the home page does not increase when items are added to the cart....

I urgently need to fix this... Can anybody advise me please how I might fix this?? Im getting a bit worried about this as I need to have the site finished for a customer very soon!! :(

Not enough information provided to be able to answer. First always provide Joomla/Virtuemart versions. Are you using AJAX to update the cart? Which cart module is it - standard mod_virtuemart_cart or a 3rd party modified module? Any other components installed, such as Joomfish? And most importantly, a live site url.
