Title: Authorize.net error message: Warning: parse_url(https://:443/gateway/transact.dl
Post by: paret62 on October 29, 2010, 23:30:48 PM
Hello Everyone,

I am building my first website ever! I have chosen joomla as my cms and virtue-mart as my shopping cart component and have had a pretty easy experience up until this point.

I configured my API information on the phone with authorize.net and then I tried simulating a purchase on test mode and get the following error messages:

Warning: parse_url(https://:443/gateway/transact.dll) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /home/content/17/6838017/html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/connectionTools.class.php on line 67

Error: Couldn't resolve host ''
Error: The transaction could not be completed.
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)

What is going on? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I am having problems running credit cards in my Joomla Websites. I can process cash sales and Paypal easily. I get the following two error messages:

Error: 3-1-103-P---(TESTMODE) This transaction cannot be accepted.
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)

Any ideas that would resolve this issue would be appreciated.

First I'd like to say, WOW, I can't believe that someone didn't answer this! Second, I'd like to say WOW again, because I believe I fixed it at least for myself.
So this is what I did. I went to:
Store > List Payment Methods > Selected Credit Card > Choose the Configuration Tab and where it says: Authorize.net Server Hostname,
I entered: secure.authorize.net
That's it. I haven't had the error since.
I hope this helps!
