Hello everyone! We have had some requests come in asking for more updates from the core team and what we've been up to. We are going to try to give a brief update monthly on what we are working on.
February has seen the continued work on VM 1.5.0. We are making some good progress with the limited resources we have right now. I am feeling confident that a beta release will be available to test in the near future. Please do not ask for a date ;), many variables are involved and this is impossible to give. Any devs that are working on code please check in with us occationally so we can see your progress.
Also, February has seen the start of another maintenance release 1.1.5. Although there is some concern this will be confused with the future release of 1.5.0 we feel it is important to put a release out that addresses some bugs and includes the security patches. This version has also been altered to handle the upgrade to 1.5.0 when it is available.
We have also moved our developer portal to a new server. The move also included a move from Code Beamer to Redmine for issue tracking and wiki support. We have found Redmine to have a much cleaner interface.
