Title: Cart Quantity of Zero.
Post by: soulpad on April 13, 2008, 16:16:39 PM
When zero quantity is selected the following message is given...

Info: To add this product into your cart you have to select a product variant on the details page.

This may be fine if a product has variants, but if it is a simple item then the message is just confusing.
For example - I have a product with no variants and the quantity/ add to cart button is displayed on the browse page.
There is no need to see the product page, to select options.

Some would say there is no need to select a zero quantity. Fine, but there is no accounting for taste. I think the model should account for this.

Is there a way of amending the quantity box to refuse a quantity of zero?

I have just upgraded from v 1.1 RC3 to 1.1 Stable and I am now receiving this error and can't add anything to my cart.

This is probably because of a zero quantity but for some reason the quantity box is now not displaying

Got to the 'Display Option' tab of the product that quantity box is not shown, bottom of the page make sure 'Hide Quantity Box' is not selected.
