Title: Form validation error with "no account creation"

Joomla 1.5, 9328 9 November  VM rel 1049

With User Registration Type set to No registration the billing form appears correctly in the cart, but cannot be submitted even if correctly filled in. Appears to be a JavaScript error - Please make sure the form is complete and valid.

Using 'No registration' method I was able to place order, i.e. fill in billing info and checkout.

Not a problem on J 1.0.13 but still an issue for me on J 1.5 with VM 1062

I have
Allow user registration: yes
New User Account Activation: no

And  User Registration Type: No account creation.

Database Version: 4.1.22
PHP Version:       5.2.4
Web Server: Apache

I see it now 'Please make sure the form is complete and valid.' have you tried a different template?

Yes, I tried different templates - that one is the 4th. I assumed there is a JavaScript check for valid email or similar - but I can't see any code for that. Since it works OK with J1.0.13 I guess it must be something to do with the 1.5 installation. ????

I'll try to setup a server like yours to try an eliminate server issue or it would be easier if you could start from fresh to make sure it is not installation issue.
