I tried your site with IE7. No errors. Do you still see the error message?

That is weird, I still get the error, tried it on 3 different computers.

See video http://www.protechsystems.us/stuff/vm.htm

I am on Windows XP SP2 with all updates and patches

Nope, still works just fine for me! And I used the same mouseclicks as the video.
What happens if you go straight to the product details (http://shop.protechsystems.us/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=garden_flypage.tpl&product_id=6&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26)?

This is crazy I am on a new machine (HP dc5700, core 2, 1GB RAM, Windows XP sp2, IE 7.0.5730.11) still the same error, even when accessing directly (using your link), the error doesn't happen in FF.

Could someone else try this.

After a lot of testing thanks to Pisu and K0nan found the problem.

It is caused by Product Categories Module specifically JS menu option.

I will mark this as solved and open a new thread related to JS menu and the error.

Could you help me out with how you solved this issue?  I am having the same problem in IE.  The site works perfectly in FireFox, but I am getting this error in IE.  This is a pretty huge error, so if you can help out at all that would be great!

The answer is in my post.

It is caused by Product Categories Module specifically JS menu option.

Don't use product categories module or if you have to, don't use JS menu option until a fix has been made.

Hmmm, I'm not using that module.  Not sure what to do then...

After you click ok it goes to a blank page.

1.0.12

Joomla/Mambo Version:

I realize I posted this on the wrong thread, but it was one of the only posts with this exact problem. Ok, so does that mean you can't help? I guess I'll look elsewhere, thanks.

It doesn't mean can not help, but it is confusing when mixing stuff, open a thread in 1.0.x section and follow Bug reporting template - instructions (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=31709.0) when posting.

change the menu type from JScook to Link List or some other option.

Ok - This is odd - I'm using Joomla 1.5.9 and VM 1.1.3 Stable and I'mve getting a very similar error only on IE.  Firefox is fine.

Is there anyone that could help me narrow it down?  I've already disabled the catagories menu and did something else like link list and still has issue.

Regards - GF

I appreciate the post - However it just point's me to use firefox - If I had it my way everyone would use that - But I need to be IE compat.  So do you have an idea where or what I could "hunt" for to correct the issue.  It's only when I click on a product in IE that the error appears.?  Do I have access to find out what error that was that got corrected?  I would hate to this error after an update be a "kill my project"

It also says we don't know how to fix it.
