I'm going to complete a store using the last VM release and I need to configure some shipping rules that apply an added cost for some range of ZIP Codes.
I see some Plugins for complex rules but they are for VM rel 3.
I don't think I can use them in this case but I need to apply the surcharge only for ranges of ZIP...
And, of course, for that ZIP I would have only the surcharged rule (not both standard and surcharged one).
Can someone please give me some suggestions?

I don't fully understand what you need from your description but my postcode plugin can be configured for most purposes .. if not I can extend it..

BTW - most VM3 plugins will be VM4 compatible when using J3

you're right, I probably wasn't clear enough.
What I need is to be able to set a surcharge for a range of zip codes.
For that range, only the rate with surcharge must appear.
Can your plugin do this?

what do u mean by a surcharge?
So generally (local Italian? ) postcodes cost X
but certain groups and ranges of postcodes cost X + Y?
Yes -- the plugin can find sets ( ranges of postcodes ) and set distinct prices for them + have default pricing for postcodes not in these defined groups/ranges
