Hi,
VirtueMart product search on admin website doesn't work at all. After put in any part of the product name there is no filtering reaction.
Joomla! 3.10.1 & VirtueMart 3.8.8 10472 & PHP 7.4.26
Not much information abou a feature that works for every one else.
You have to press GO before search begins.
More info would be nice, screenshots ?

Hey, I know I have to use a GO.
The before and after screen looks the same. It is simple product list page.
Thanks you for your cooperation

Jörgen - what part of the page you want to see? What can I add more?
I think you need to enter at least the first 3 characters of the product name before hitting the search button. eg t-s brings up all t-shirts.
Even if I put the whole word it doesn't change anything.
then do some further digging.. look in the console.. what does the Post look like?
what is the return etc etc

Hi, I'm not fluent with it... but in console I find this:
jquery-migrate.min.js?1acf779d9aa531507dc676ebebc163a2:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
bootstrap-tooltip-extended.min.js?1acf779d9aa531507dc676ebebc163a2:6 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'VERSION')

but I don't know what to do with it ...
Additional extensions that have been installed that have made VM back end product search stop working. It has worked before, yes ?

I'm not sure... I didn't check it before. How can I check with one is the wrong?
Uninstall or deactivate suspicious extensions. I am sorry but I can not know what extension you might have installed that could cause trouble.

Hi, I setup "off" to each one by one and there is no reaction. Almost everything is from joomla itself. I added one shipment(inpost) and recaptcha for backend. Maybe you would like to check yourself?

Hi,
the problem turned out to be using the admin template (beta). When turned off, the search works. However, I would like to use the new template? Will this help you to make the diagnosis closer?
