I'm not sure what can be done by this, but some of my orders (only some over the last day or so) are not being confirmed because the IP is not recognized as being from PayPal, when it is. I've confirmed payments were made for these orders. I understand this is probably PayPal not listing all IPs?

You can turn IP checking off in the paypal plugin
I'm having the same problem but cannot see any way to switch off IPN tracking. I am using Joomla 3.10, VM v 3.8.8 and VM Paypal plugin v 3.8.8. PHP is 7.3.27.

OK, I got it - the option is in VM and not in the Paypal plugin.
Generally for VM plugins they are always configured within VM
