Hi. I don't understand one thing.
A new update to VM 3.8.9 is available from mid-February. Today is the end of March, but there is no report about this update on the Virtuemart site. Even the joomla update system doesn't offer me this update. What is wrong? Isn't it a shame to create an update and not tell anyone about it?

It's an odd number release 3.8.9 so is a testing release rather than a full stable release. It sits between 3.8.8.and 3.8.10 (or 4.0). These versions are likely to be picked up by experienced users only and don't have the full file set of a proper stable release. As far as I am concerned it is stable, but it's not fully tested.

oh, ok. I see (stable, compatible J3.9). That's why I thought it was a stable version, not a test version.
I know this - 3.8.9 fixed terrible bug in version 3.8.8
But still is non-tested, but stable?
Im totally lost :)
So I see in name type of stable, but is version 3.8.9 stable or not?
(In the past, using stable in the name has been misleading several times, as the version has generated many new bugs)
