Hi,
I updated virtuemart to 3.8.6.
The shop categories and products are shown.
But if I put one article in the card and want to shop more, I only see a white page.
In the console from my browser I get: Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
The card still works and if I delete the item in the card, the shop works again.
How can I solve this problem?

I guess this is shipment or payment plugins that need to be updated or an out of date template.
Maybe a JS error ?

sorry, I posted first in german.
So I will try again in englisch.
It is right, that the error message "jquery is not defined" comes from my template.
But why do I have the error ONLY when I have a product in my cart?
The site works fine, if there is no product in the cart.

one of these plugins is not calling jquery correctly or jquery is not loaded .. ?
the plugins are up to date.

all plugins and extensions are up to date.
I tested another template and then it works. It really seems to be an issue with the template.
I only wonder why it makes trouble only on the shop-sites...
But thank you. I will see, how to solve it.

Overrides in a template are not one single file or override. It is a mix of CSS, HTML, PHP and JS. With lots of adjustments that are designed just for a specific purpose, eg checkout.
