Hi, is there a way not to show a product as a latest product but only as a featured product, even though it was added recently (making it a latest product)?

I guess you have to change the creation date. This is AFAIK onle accessible through phpMyAdmin.

But it's just a work around.I feel there should be an inbuilt option.
It is a very special case, the product is new and it is on featured. Adding something that makes it "OLD" or excludes it from latest is far from a high priority feature.
There is a switch in configuration that makes a product appear oly once on a webpage, maybe you should try this. If I remember correctly this had some speed implications.

I am unable to find the VM products database, let alone a particular product. Is there a tool/extension available for this?
