Title: Virtuemart search field only in products but not for categories

Hi,
Is there a global setting so I can remove searchbox for all category items but I still want search for products.

Also where do I change the search text?

You have a setting to hide the search box in category view in the Virtuemart Config.

I managed to do that but cannot figure out how to show search for products.
Maybe not looking hard enough!?

Possible right?

I perhaps not understand.
in the config > Templates : Shopfront Settings
Show search : No

You can check the tab "Product Order Settings" to disable/enable search fields

Sorry for late reply.
I have "show search" and under "prod order settings" I have marked search fields but still no search box showing.

Maybe template problem or something!?
