How would I change the search to not search through description ? .
I have read this - https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=34970.0 (https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=34970.0) but it is very old so is different now.
Not sure if this will affect anything but I am using CF Search and Filter - https://breakdesigns.net/extensions/joomla/custom-filters (https://breakdesigns.net/extensions/joomla/custom-filters)

In the virtuemart config, you can set/unset the search fields. I dont know if "CF Search and Filter" use this setting, but it work for a standard search
Thank you, but that didnt work, on further digging I found that cf search has its own settings in - Custom Filters component's options/settings > Search , there you can untick search description, clear cache and it works :)
