A friend with "no budget" has asked me to build a new website. The website wetrooms-online.com is currently with Webfactory whose system is really restrictive. They have requested VirtueMart and as I have no experience with VirtueMart, I thought I would ask the people that know, what the benefits are. I have experience some with Wordpress/Woocommerce, Joomla, Orchard, Umbraco and Druple but I am interested to know what VirtueMart could offer, especially as the customer has specifically requested it.

Looking at that shop, I can see that it already is a Joomla/VirtueMart shop using the VP Framework with the VP Smart template. So why did you ask about VirtueMart?
