Hello.
On my page I have enabled searching module.
Now when I try to fing f.e. "GOLF V" in product list I get all product with "GOLF" and with "V" in name.
How to setup that to show only products with whole "GOLF V" in name?
Anybody?
Has anybody any idea?
I suppose that is currently not possible. The VirtueMart search plugin is based on Joomla's com_search and that one doesn't have the capability to do this. See https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/17751 for an explanation.
If you want to solve your problem by using a 3rd party search solution, please check Custom Filters. It will give you exactly what you search for.

I can confirm what balai is saying I am using the Custom filters for years and the search works like described here.

As far as I know it would not only find 'Golf V' but also 'Golf VI' and 'Golf VII'. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@jjc You seem to be correct, but it is better than all that includes GOLF and V.

If you search for 'Golf V' in the product name, it will return any product name that includes 'Golf V'. Hence Golf VI' and 'Golf VII' are valid results in that case.

but results page looks like doesn't grabbing my template configuration.
