Can i use the Kallyas Theme with Virtuemart. My original website was developed using the Kallyas Theme. How compatible is the Kallyas Theme Virtuemart? Can we integrate it?
You can always try. Simply do not add visible Joomla menu item links to your shop.
Best of course is to use a stagging website or folder.
If no support is provided for virtuemart, you have certainly to modify some CSS
No we are not adding visible Joomla menu links. The main menus are going to be straight forward main links and sub links so that should be ok. But we did want to add dropdown menus searches in different sections to help users find their products. This is a big issue with our website ...customers have difficulty finding the correct products. Dropdowns something like this: https://printerinkcartridges.ie/hp-inkjet-cartridges (https://printerinkcartridges.ie/hp-inkjet-cartridges) Is this feature feasible with virtuemart?
It's possible to do using tow categories level.
"Choose Printer Type" is top level
"Choose Printer Model" as Children.
Of course it need a custom category module, but easy to do.
Thanks i have tried this and customized the design to suit and it has worked out fine.
