Title: Customers not receiving confirmation/invoice emails

Hi all, new to this forum so not sure if I'm posting in the right place... problem is that whenever a customer places a order on the site they do not receive the invoice email from VM but the vendor receives the email to say an order has been placed. Some of the things tried to solve the problem... full update, tried sending as text invoic3, updated the shop and few more settings changed. If user registration is enabled at check out customers receive the email to activate their account but no invoice email...

If anyone as got any suggestions that would be great!

VM version, updated, has it ever worked  Joomla version etc.

Adjust the settings in VM backend, configuratio->e-mails

There You can decide which status creates an invoice, and which statuses sends emails, both to vendor and customer.

Pending does not send any e-mail.

email to activate their account ----  get rid of this .. why would u want a customer to jump through hoops to buy something from you?

This will loose you many many sales

It isn't turned on it was just turned on to test to see if them emails was being sent and they are but no invoice emails being sent to customers when they place a order

One thing I have noticed I'm sure it didn't used to do this and it used to show invoice, but in VM order section where it says print view if I click on the invoice I get a new page open and this error....

PHP 5.4 ?

???

Does a invoice get created ?

Can you try to turn off invoice creation ?

Has it ever worked ?

Full update ? VM + AIO + TCPDF ?

Hi sorry I forgot to put that in the last post will check today when I'm home from work and write it on here.

One more thing I've noticed today, the order invoice email that is sent to me  (vendor) if i try and forward that to my personal email address I don't receive it, it goes into sent items and I get no errors but it isn't received. I can send a normal email from that email address and that is received but any invoice/order email will send but is not received?

I have the same issue.
I use Joomla 3.9.2 and VirtueMart 3.4.2
It worked till last month.
