I own a website with webshop (https://www.bimmerfest.eu/en/bimmerfest-store/bimmerfest-merchandise (https://www.bimmerfest.eu/en/bimmerfest-store/bimmerfest-merchandise)), that we are planning to launch soon.
We have already received some orders, and I've noticed the following problem.
Many products we sell, have got sub articles, with sizes or colors to choose from. They way I've added the products is:
1. Main article – without size/color selection (which says: select a color)
2. Sub article 1 – with first size/color selection
3. Sub article 2 – with second size/color selection
4. Etc.
The problem: customers are able to order the first article, so they order a product, with "select a color". I have to email the customer afterwards, in order to check which color they'd like to order.
My question: is there a solution to force customers to select a color? The only thing I don't want, is to immediately have selected a color or size. This way, people will automatically order the first color or size. I want them to actually need the choose themselves. So if they don't select a size or color, they are not able to order a product/item.
