Title: 504 Gateway Time-out

Hi,
I'm trying to update my VirtueMart version but it times out:
'504 Gateway Time-out
The server didn't respond in time. '

Thanks for your reply.

I'm using the Joomla installer:
Extensions/Manage/Intall/browse for file

... then selecting com_virtuemart.3.4.3.9989

You mean com_virtuemart.3.4.3.9989_package_or_extract.zip  ?  If so you may not have enough server resources. You can unpack that and upload com_virtuemart.3.4.3.9989.zip etc seperately

... it's the com_virtuemart.3.4.3.9989 2,010k zip folder.

then as Jenks says ... unpack or upload and unpack if u have server access/zip to a folder under /tmp/ and browse to via the installer and run
