Hi,

Attempting to upgrade to vm 3.4.0 from 3.2.14, through Joomla administrator page, i am getting the error "Class 'GenericTableUpdater' not found".

Joomla 3.8.12
Php 7.2

Any hint?

Using Joomla's Extensions/Manage/Install tab upload and install the package "com_virtuemart.3.4.0.9935_package_or_extract.zip" from http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files  That should work for you.

Explanation, we updated the core, just the installer.
