Hey, We're looking for a way to handle a product with pay what you want pricing while using our virtuemart order system. Is there a plugin
or something else to handle the pricing and pass it to the database easily from a text field, Or will we have to build it from scratch?

I have developed a type your own price custom plugin ( actually for a Point of sale setup)

It uses a normal VM product and the price is passed thru as per a normal purchase

its not probably exactly what you want but I can adapt it

your example can be reproduced with the core "text input" plugin + the "Name The Price for VirtueMart" plugin, why have you reinvented the wheel ?

My solution is very similar to the "Name The Price for VirtueMart" plugin so recommend u go with that
