Title: After order products still in cart

Hi,
After ordering and successful payment, customers return to cart.
But sometimes the products are still in the cart?

How can this be emptied after order.

Using Joomla 3.8.8 and VM 3.2.12

php version ?

Preferably 7.0.x or 7.1.x but not 7.2.x

I'm still on 5.6 will upgrade will upgrade soon....
Rest of the shop works fine.

Disable "System - Page Cache" plugin if enabled.

It can also be a payment plugin issue so check using another payment method.

System page cache is disabled already.

Using jd ideal which works fine also, with active development.

Cart needs to be cleared by the payment plugin after successful payment. Have you tried using standard VirtueMart payment plugin (cash)?
