Working on styling the way my products are showed. I want to change the words from the side of the image to underneath. Is there anyway I can do it in the configuration tab or do I have to do it through css?

Your template use a 2 column table, this is an overide in your template.
You should change sublayout YOURROOT/templates/rt_vermilion/html/com_virtuemart/sublayouts/products.php and remove html table and use div
