For produst listing on Google you should look at a good XML feed component, such as https://extensions.virtuemart.net/back-office/import-export/googlebasexml-detail . In addition, paying attention to each part of site construction, product descriptions and so on is my general approach, as well as a good sitemap component and hosting on a fast VPN. A look at https://joomlaseo.com may give some useful information (I have not looked on there lately).
For sitemap on all my sites I use JSitemap Professional Edition (https://storejextensions.org/extensions/jsitemap_professional.html).
