Does anyone know, how I can promote a certain product in the cart in this or a similar way:
When the customer adds a product to the cart, also the promoted product is added to the cart.
He can remove the product from the cart or keep it in his next order.
Once he has ordered the promoted product, it will not be promoted/added anymore in the cart.
Any idea?

Not sure what You are meaning. But I add a free gift with every order in the cart. This is done with Awocoupon. You can set up a lot of things with this software. have been using this for years. Give Seyi a mail and ask him if he thinks You can use Awocoupon.
