I have 3 categories all with different shipping requirements. I have setup 6 shipping methods so that each category has a UK and rest of the world option. Each one is setup to only allow the right category to make it show up so what happens if someone buys something from both categories?
I was hoping just the most expensive shipping option would show but they all do. Blocking categories doesnt work because the category is used so it shows up anyway.
Any ideas how best to achieve this please i think i must be missing something obvious.

I think i have boshed this using weight to split the products, shame it would have been best to have used categories saves time inputting new procts, if there is a way please let me know

Have you checked the SHOP settings ?
I think you can choose to display only one and the priority.
Alatak.net sell a shipping rule plugin, more complex as the core one, certainly it work for your case.
