Title: Problems with Instalation
Post by: Luis4u on September 13, 2017, 22:40:36 PM
Hello there,
I was trying few times to install VM for my Joomla! 3.7.5.
I am currently using JSN Force Template, that is suppose to work very good with with VM. I am unable to install it. JSN support tried to resolve the problem, but they faced the same problem as I did.
After hiting the install button, after few seconds appears the info https://monosnap.com/file/yVLxVTpcfav278QlEz0jTXhNqSIDcS#

Do you have any idea what might be causing the problem?
Sincere
Daniel

Are you by any chance trting to install a quick start template package into Joomla?

The way to install VirtueMart is first to install Joomla (and preferably stop there and get to know the various functions within the basic CMS. The download the latest Virtuemart package (http://virtuemart.net/downloads VirtueMart 3.2.4 component (Core, AIO and TCPDF)) from  http://virtuemart.net/downloads  - unpack the package on your computer and install com_virtuemart.3.2.4.zip folowed by com_virtuemart.3.2.4_ext_aio.zip and then com_tcpdf_1.0.4.zip  - at some point you will see a prompt to install VM sample datea - do that.  Then you will have a Joomla website with Virtuemart installed.

Have a look at it and see how things work.

Then, once you are familiar with VM you can install your third party template. Note this should be the template file only, not tyhe quick start package. Then you can make that template the Joomla default and start customising it to meet your needs.

The instalation was completed without a problem. I had installed the CORE, AIO and TCPDF. Then I had instaled the template. And here is another problem.
After switching to products or some other menu I recive this kind of message.
What schall I do now? Switch to another template?
