Title: saving products with a singular specific product category does not work

we're having issues with the products. we cannot enter a new product with a specific program category, instead we get "vmError: You are not an administrator or the correct vendor, storing of product cancelled failed". All other categories work and the code we use to retrieve them works. Our vendor account is the proper permission settings as a superuser, and we not using multiple vendors. We;ve had a similar issue before but this is not that. We are using joomla 3.7.2, and Virtuemart is 3.2x

Can you try creating another super admin account? then login with that and try again.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We had multiple super user accounts, I usually use my own with the privileges and the vendor id another super user. And this issue appears across the board for all our back end users.
