Title: Need Sub-Categories names in top level category
Post by: ch1vph on June 25, 2017, 13:13:21 PM
Hi there,

Is there any way to display my products subcategory names in a top level category - menu layout.

For example on my site I have x3 subcategories setup to all display on there top level parent category:

Top Level: All Purses
Sub Cates: zip purses / flap purse / chain purses

*Please note: They do all display in the Top Level, but their subcategory titles do not display...to break up the page in between each sub-category on the top level page layout.

Is there any way, to have the Subcategories names (zip purses etc) show up on this Top Level 'All Purses' Page?

Thanks,
Chris H.

Hello again!

Would anybody know anyway to make the above change possible, I've attached an image showing my query above as I'm trying to recreate.

Thanks in advance...

Still not clear what you are asking, but child category names do usually display on their parent category page. eg see http://demo.virtuemart.net/wear    The parent category is "wear" and the children are "Lady" and "Mister". Here they appear above the parent name, but moving them lower can be done with simple template overrides.
