I run Joomla 3.7.0 and VM 3.0.21. I noticed that recent products are not diplayed on the front shop anymore. I need administrative help.

this part of VM has changed a lot.
Here are my settings in Virtuemart Configuration. Nevertheless the recent products are not coming up.
There are also configuration options in Joomla menu items for VM.

I changed everything, both in Menu Link of my Start Page and Virtuemart Configuration, and still no Recent or Latest or Featured products are displayed. Instead of them I see just the category layout of All My Products. I'm looking for something like the deprecated Shopfront. I think I miss something simple to manage it but I can't figure out what is it.

kaiserdom, try this: disable 'Enable legacy layouts' in 'Shopfront settings for deprecated views/layouts' and change the Front Page layout to: 'category layout'. Then set the appropriate view for that menu item. Should work.
Thank you all for your efforts but nothing seems to work. For now I just have to stick with the old good FrontShop Layout and forget the Recent Products. The new shopfront with Category Layout seems like wasting too much grey matter for something that doesn't work.

Sorry, but it works very well. I think you have a missconfiguration or maybe a template wich is not adapted to the current vm version.
Yes maybe. I don't blame Virtuemart for my problem. ;)
At last after updating to version VM 3.2.2 everything works like a charm.
