I have just set up a shop using virtuemart 3.0.18 and Joomla 3.6.4 I am using the payfast payment plugin. The vendor and admin emails from that plugin only are not sending although the status is getting updated on the order. The site email and other payment emails are working.
The developers of the payment plugin have the following to say: "the issue lies with the updateStatusForOneOrder function not sending emails", and are not helping any further.
Does anyone have any idea where the problem lies?
Is this the Webkul plugin for Payfast?

Seems the problem lies with the clients email address not virtuemart at all.
