I am trying to put 2 prices on the same product to be displayed on the product details page, one for internet price (so it goes to the cart and etc.) and another for in-store price, just as information (see example2.jpg). As you can see in the screenshot i have set the 2 prices but only one is always shown, most likely i am missing something, i am not a VM expert used it a few times and earlier versions Vm 3.X is new to me.

I'm not sure that option is meant to show prices that way but with some many addons recently can't assure.
I believe is not shown cause you are not using the quantity range at all so I think the system by default will use the lowest price.
Anyway a solution without nasty codes and overrides since your in-store price is just for information you can simply use custom fields to show it in the product details. You can try position ontop or onbot for the custom field of type editor or text area to write the price directly.
