I am really struggling with this. I have read many threads without a resolution. I am running Joomla 3.5.1 with VM 3.0.17. I am using the break designs Stockable Custom Fields plugin, along side CSVI to import my products.
I can get the Parent product to display correctly with the dropdown list for variations, but i cannot for the life of me get it to show as In Stock. The parent product is not orderable, however surely it should show as in stock when its variations are in stock?
I can obviously create a hack for this to run a cron and update its stock from the sum of the variations, but is there a native way to do this? I have seen many many posts, but non that have a definitive upto date answer . Maybe it is something i am missing?
