Hi,
I am using virtuemart now since more then a year and the invoice number was always in order:
160219Q3XV039
160219C2C7040
etc.
but for what ever reason it changed and it is sometimes jumping one number. The order number is still in order so it is not that i am missing something.
If I had change anything in the meantime I would know where to search, but I am not aware of anything.
Any idea?

if u have sequential invoice numbers you must be using a plugin or hack as they are by standard installs random (I assume u mean Order numbers)

the order number (the one I can see in the left column in the order menu) is in a clear sequence:
A32T054
WC1Z055
NEG7056
N5XQ057
so that's fine.
but the invoice number I got on the pdf file (print options) next to the delivery notes, was in the previous described sequence.
It is also in the details under the IP adress "invoice"
Do I really need a plug-in to get this in sequence, was it just pure luck to be in sequence?

The count of ordernumber and invoice counts the rows. So it works not perfect,
this plugin

uses an own table and own entry, just for the counter. The counter can be adjusted and works also per year, month, per country and so on.

it took me a bit to get the syntax in the way I wanted it to have it, but it does what it should.
