I have moved a clients site from one host to another host. It all seems to work except when I click the show cart button I am sent to a blank page. See below

Do you know what could be causing this? Not sure if this matters but my client is using PayPal as a credit card processor.

Also, When I try to make changes also in Joomla, Articles, Global Config, etc., I get the white page too.
the PHP is set to 5.4
VM2.0.8c is 3 years old! Are you sure the site has not been hacked? http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0
Sounds like a more general Joomla problem as VM issues should not affect J articles..
What is the error message in the logs or seen when debug is turned on?
Problem is I can't turn on debug since a white page also shows there. I also loaded a fresh version of Joomla! 2.5.28 and it didn't do any good. Still getting the white pages when I try to 'Show Cart' and the admin cannot make any changes, When I try I get the white pages.
Check the server error log file.
