I need to add extra field at checkout, where customer has an option to add purchase order number.
I do not want to use notes field for that, as i need it to be used for another purpose. I would like to create custom field, but not for products, just at checkout.
Is it possible? If yes, how?

Please add a shopper field under configuration->shopper field
