Hi
I noticed 3 settings below the generic childs custom fields. If you change them you cant save them.
I don't know if this is a bug.
We were searching for an option to show prices in the dropdown selection list and I don't know if that is the intention with this settings that I cant change and save.
One of them says "show price" thats why I ask.

vm 3.0.6.2
joomla 3.4
Yes, it is meant that way, works for me on j2.5, just tested
Strange cause I can't modify the settings, once I click save they are stored as default no.
I can change all the settings except those 3.
Any idea what could be causing it? Are they dependent of another setting to work?
Regards
Should directly work, I have no idea. Maybe create a new custom, maybe a migrated version has an unknown problem there.
I've been searching for hours for a post where someone already mentioned this but cant find it.
I tried creating a new field with the same result, cant edit those last 3. Updated the vm2 custom fields to vm3 with the tools and updated tables.
I can't see any child product with price in the dropdown list in the demo either http://demo.virtuemart.net/
Regards
Can you edit the other new parameters of the customs? for example the params in related product or related categories?
Just tried and no, I can't either in those.
In related products or categories custom fields happens in the last 3 as in the generic child variants.

Then you have a general problem with your installation. Try the BE of the demo, you will notice that it works there
Damn, actually it does not work there either, but on my local installtion. Same version. Hmmm, nasty
Yeah I even made a clean install in a test server and couldnt get it to work.
Found it, was just a too restrictiv admin setting. GetHtml breaks arrays. Will be fixed next version. So long allow your managers to use raw (there is an ACL for that).

Glad you found it but sorry dont understand this.
I went to the permissions for VM and Managers have all set to inherited, that was allowed already if you refer to the one in the screenshot + im superadmin.

SEt Alraw to "allowed"
Done but still can't change those settings :(
I did it the nasty way Max, changed the price 0 to 1 in the database as shown in the image and wohoo, finally prices show in the dropdown, no clue why I cant change them from VM directly though.
