Title: layout troubles
Post by: Claus Vesterager Martinus on May 21, 2014, 10:18:33 AM
Hi'
I have installed VM2.6.0a on a J2.5.20 platform. My hompepage template doesn't seem to work all that well with the templates of VM. Eg. I would like to to have two categories show side by side in category-view. But they seem to place themselves on top of each other. How to make the categories present themselves side by side? I've got the same problem in product view...

Any help?

Tried the crystal ball but the connection seems down.. hmmm

As this is  a specific question about YOUR template how on earth could anyone help you without a live site url?

Make sure Default number of categories in a row in Configuration/Templates is set to 2 and that for products you should set  Default number of products in a row to your required number. For each category you can also set Number of Products per Row (to override the default).

You can remove sort & search simply by using a template override. Described here many times before.

your divs have a class span4  but no css rules for that class at all -

your using some sort of over rides as that isn't std. VM html
