I am trying to install Virtuemart 2.6 on Joomla 3.2 and I am getting Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file
Yes I unzip the package and I also tried to install via Folder...
Btw I took a peak into core xml file... I am not sure why version 2.5 or 3.5 not mentioned inside <extension> tag... Its says 1.5.0 but I read 2.6 wont support Joomla 1.5.

Clearly stated there is: version 2.6 is the interim between VM 2.0 and VM3= new features, no API changes, only compatible Joomla 2.5
D0 you know the estimated date for 3.2 version?
Virtuemart 3.0 ! We work on it. It is already joomla 3 compatible. If you are eager and want to start a new store and you are a bit experienced with virtuemart, you can start with the vm2.9 coming this week.
