Is the following assumption correct?
When using custom fields plug-in and stockable variants, first the custom fields must be added to the parent followed by save, then the children are to be added and custom field values assigned to each child (the opposite order is technically not possible). If a parent has a large number of children with more than one plug-in-stockable custom field and for business reasons an additional new plug-in custom field must be added, all children including all their namings, SKU's, stock levels etc. must be deleted and new created. This is a no-go in a productive shop with live data as it means tons of manual work and the likleyhood of messing things up.
Have I understood the context correctly and if yes, is it something which is being looked into for the planned upgrade of VM2 for Joomla 3.x in late 2014?
