Hi All,
I am using Joomla 2.5.3 With Virtuemart 2.0.26d, and I have an issue with the search function of the shopping cart. I can't use it to search category descriptions or category titles and get the results to show. I have Category titles and descriptions chosen in the backend Available Search Fields in the Configuration, but no matter what those don't show up in search results.
Can someone help me fix this please? I didn't see this in any other topic, but if there is already a solution, just point me in the right direction.

Did you activated the searchfield in the config? Searching is energy expensive, therefore we have options in the config to define the searched fields.
Actually I think I do have that search capability activated in the config. Here is a screen grab from the administration side. Please let me know if I need to activate anything else.
Cay you let me know if there is a plugin I need to activate to cause the search to work on the search items that I have selected in the config?

Yes I do have that selected in the configuration. the address of the site is honestdogarts.com. Can you please take a look? I can let you have access. I also posted a screen grab of the inside of the config where the settings are located. I do really need some help on this! Thanks for your time!

You are loading an old jquery <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>, so the add to cart is also not working. I would first take a look on these problems. Nice site btw

Oh, wow! So glad you noticed that! Not to sound out of my mind but, what jquery library should I be running? Is this the better one? http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js
I will check in on the add to cart issue as well.

Hi Milbo,
Sorry about that, I answered my own question about the jquery library. I am now only having the issue with the search portion of the Virtuecart program. I can't seem to get it to search anything other than the descriptions and the product names. Do you see anything else missing?
