Title: PSP Payments Integration
Post by: misholini on December 04, 2013, 10:50:18 am
Skrill has PSP Platform for processing payments besides their payment gateway (html form based e.g.PayPal). My question here is it easy to integrate PSP payments in virtuemart. I was told that this is simillar to GlobalCollect, WorldPay, Dibs etc.Skrill explained that the PSP platform is supported in Magento Enterprise at the moment and not in Virtuemart.

Skrill (Moneybookers) in various forms is included in current versions of VirtueMart, from 2.0.8e onwards (currently we are at 2.0.24c). http://virtuemart.net/news/list-all-news/423-skrill-formerly-moneybookers-integrated-into-virtuemart-208e

Don't think anyone ever built one - and of course they probably won't now as J1.5/VM1.1 are no longer supported

That's not true, Monebookers/Skrill have official module and installation manual which covers J 1.5 and VM1.1 for their payment gateway:

The problem is that they do not support VM at all for their PSP platform and I have received an email from them stating so. They do support Magento Enterprise Edition.

I meant for their PSP. Use Mag then! I only ever built one site with Magento - it's powerful & takes a lot of work to customise, but with time & a fast server it is OK. Bit expensive for smaller stores, though.
