Title: Base price with tax always crossed out

Hello,

for some reason as you can see here
http://choiceandattitude.com/new/index.php/en/menswear/shoes
the green shoe on the left has base price 64.96 and with 23% VAT the final price is 79.90
Why I see two 79.90 and the top one is crossed out ?

Also the product on the right displays fine as the base price is 69.00 and with 23% VAT and 10% discount before tax the final price is 76.38.
This displays fine as 69.00 - 6.90 (10%) = 62.10 + 14.28 (23% VAT) = 76.38

So it correct to have the 84.87 (69.00+VAT)  crossed and the 76.38 not crossed


can you please advice.

'Double price' issue. You can search on forum related thread with a fix. This will be fixed in newer version of VM also.

thanks for your help,

I run version 2.0.22a
joomla 2.5.11
php version 5.3.25.

If I try to upgrade to 2.0.22c everything is messed up.

This has to do with the tax rules I think.

I am back unfortunately

and after adding the third product for some reason I am still getting a double price...one crossed and one non crossed as you can see here

So you need compare these identical prices and if they are equal show that one without strikethorugh? Try to use IF statement. I'm sure it's very simple to do. Report here if you will have some problems with this.

Hello,

I have discovered the problem for sure this time.

if I use decimal on the base price for example 100.20 I get the double price (one with strikethrough and one without strike through)

I run version 2.0.22a

Hello Krentzis,

have you solved this problem with the double prices (same price - one time crossed and one time without cross)?

For me everything was fine. But when I updated from VM version 2.0.22c to 2.0.24 suddenly I got this issue.

If you or anybody else found a solution please tell us. I have no idea what to do...

By the way.. the same for me..
When I type in the first area just one number without decimals, then the crossed price disappears in frontend. (see screenshot)
When there are decimals the base price shows twice in frontend.

I use VM 2.0.24 my site ist currently offline

Please help!

Hi !

I have also the same problem (Joomla! 2.5.16 - VM 2.0.24a).

Is there a fix for this problem ? Because for specific product as books in my country, the final price can't be changed, so If I get a base price with decimal, I must respect it.

Hi guys,

I found a solution that works for me.
At least the only thing I've done was to deactivate a setting in price settings.
Actually I have no idea what it is, but I don't need it.

After deactivating it, the crossed price (which is same as the normal price) disappears.
So the crossed price will be only shown for real discounts (before for e.g.).

Screenshot is in german, but you will find it I'm sure.

Configuration --> configuration --> Price settings

Hello, I have exactly the same problem, but unfortunately, attachment was removed by admin.
Can u please tell me exactly which setting u de-activated in price settings ?
