Hi, excuse me for my bad english but i have a problem with virtuemart.
In the single product page i need to insert many attribute like color, but i want that when client click on color the image change like the color selected. Are there a plugin or a mod to have this effects?

I know the generic child approach but that loads a new product page and also is not that nice to setup, because you can't order your child products by different characteristics like have a generic child custom field with only the size variants and a other with only the color variants.

Here is a URL of a not so nice setup of products variants with reloads. The problem of setting up the product variants by for example color and have a other field setting it up for example a extra feature would be favourable but I had to setup like this;
Bike (basic) has 2 variants; 1 color and 2 extra feature (basket)
Bike color variant has one variant; extra feature (basket)
So there are 4 bikes (combinations) URL (http://bikem.nl/vm2/index.php/opafiets) the first dropdown menu is the one, the other two dropdown menu's are the way I would like it to be.
So is it possible to have 2 separate dropdown menu's for the color and a extra feature?

I'm afraid you need to have only one color choosable control. Maybe you need to combine 'General color variant' and 'Variant color'.
Also to have or not to have 'basket' is irrelevant to color deal. Anyway customer could choose such extra option in any case.
Did you look into my post? Do you have some difficulties with it? You need to have childs with different colors you know?
