Title: Shipping Issue
Post by: CreativeDesigns on August 12, 2013, 15:34:17 PM
I am having an issue with the shipping on my clients site. I have set up the weights of the products in the backend. I have set up the shipping, such that if the product wieghs X, they pay X etc. The problem is that the system doesn't seem to be picking this up.

This is the process I followed:

Why would this be happening and how can I fix it? http://www.gentlepresence.co.za

*confused*

please help

After shopper provides information about his address it's possible to provide to him available for this address shipment methods.

In terms of this problem - I have noticed that the system is not recognizing the weight of a product (as set in the backend), and is also not including that in the shipping area upon check out.

Why would this be happening? And how can this be fixed?

upon registration, it now takes me to another page which lists every single shipping item I have set up - INSTEAD OF WORKING OUT THE PRICE BASED ON THE WEIGHT
Maybe it's time to post here a screen shot of your setup for shipping by weight plugin?

Are you saying that I need to set a minimum weight for everything?
Ie for anything between 1.1kg and 2kg, and then 2.1kg and 5kg etc?

Brilliant!
It works now!
Thank you so much for your patience with me. It's the first time I've had to do anything shipping related like this :)
