hi

I am selling a personalised product and would like to create fields where customer can type in their information and this is recorded with their order. They would need to type in, for example, a name, a place of birth etc, so I need to create fields that have a descriptor, and then a box where they can type in their details, and THEN add to basket. So I would want this on the product page.

Is this even possible?

Such functionality is built in VM. Check one of plugins that could be used as custom fields.
