There is a fixed positioned box on my product pages going by the class 'modal'. I've tried to remove it by unchecking the 'show manufacturer' option in configuration however the box is still there. Is this the default functionaliy of Virtuemart? How do I get red of it? Se image link below

It is not normal. Looks like something being added in your template but impossible to say without a url - for templating issues photos are useless.

I've taken out as much of the code possible from the com_virtuemart folder however the box was still showing up so in the end is just display: none it.
