Title: Error message uploading product image
Post by: MooseMoney on March 20, 2013, 00:32:07 AM
Website is in development on my PC | Joomla 2.5.9 | Virtuemart 2.0.20b | PHP 5.3.1

I created a product and then tried to upload the product image (product101.jpg).
I then get the following error message;

vmError: store medias TableMedias: :store failed
Unknown column 'file_lang' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO `zWxlk_virtuemart_medias` (`virtuemart_media_id`,`virtuemart_vendor_id`,`file_title`,`file_description`,`file_meta`,`file_mimetype`,`file_type`,`file_url`,`file_url_thumb`,`published`,`file_is_downloadable`,`file_is_forSale`,`file_is_product_image`,`shared`,`file_params`,`file_lang`,`created_on`,`created_by`,`modified_on`,`modified_by`) VALUES ('0','1','product101.jpg','','','image/jpeg','product','images/stories/virtuemart/product/product101.jpg','','1','0','0','0','0','','','2013-03-19 23:26:18','473','2013-03-19 23:26:18','473')

The image file is indeed in the "images/stories/virtuemart/product" directory but it does not show up in the "Product/Product Images" admin panel!?
Please help!!

I also have this problem; after upgrading to the latest version of VirtueMart it won't let me add new images for products and it will throw that same error.

Could anyone give us some feedback?

Thanks

I am also experiencing the same problem. There isn't a field in the virtuemart_medias table called 'file_lang'.

Try Tools / Install or if necessary update tables  - test on a backup copy.

hmm .. why do u say that?

the most recent stable is http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/1000/com_virtuemart.3.0.16_extract_first.zip

3.0.17.6 is on final testing and should be released soon as 3.0.18

Hello

I know why he sais that, if You go to download section You still get this:
http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/995/com_virtuemart.3.0.14_extract_first.zip (http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/995/com_virtuemart.3.0.14_extract_first.zip)

No offense, but I don´t see why a user should browse the whole VM website to see what is the latest official release.

Shouldn´t the official download link should be the official download link .... Updating this link would stop a lot of unnecessary posts from being sent. Just my two cents.

None ever taken...  :)

and agree...  as 3.0.16 is the latest stable .. unless there is a good reason.. shouldn't it be the download?
